Travel Diaries 9: Appreciating Sub-Zero Japan
My travel blogs have all been pretty boring, so I'm going to blog about my entire trip as though they are a series of "Instagram posts", like how I think an Instagram influencer would. Sorry I didn't take any influencer-esque photos during my trip, I hope the captions suffice.
(After doing this post, I started having more respect for these vapid and pretentious Instagrammers. Really. I had to pluck irrelevant quotes from the sky and force-fit them where they don't belong, and even had to invent my own drama for the realism. I personally think this is quite difficult. They should start paying Instagrammers the same as they do doctors and teachers.*)

Maserati not sponsoring me a car for my Tokyo trip, I need to take public transport throughout Japan. But it's okay, more chance for OOTD post on the bullet train!
This is my PASMO card...can use for JR lines and subways throughout Japan, even in cities in Hokkaido. Good to buy one at the information counter when you touch down at Haneda airport! Each journey on any JR line is only about 100 yen in Tokyo, and 200 yen in Sapporo. A sponsored Maserati would be better of course, but pretty good deal!

Heard almost every JR and subway line in Tokyo connects to Shinjuku station! Explore the basement for multiple food, shopping and souvenir choices! There's literally, like, a snow storm going on out there once every 3 seconds.

After turning many time I turned into TAKANO, a famous fruit parlour in Tokyo! White strawberries are in season during Jan/Feb (they magically mix a pineapple together with a strawberry). I chose this blueberry yogurt cos I'm vegan at the moment. Remember, no cruelty to animal make this world a better place make love and not war.

Shit happens, need a breather. Went to Sapporo to breathe better, bought new luggage just for the BigCamera snacks, booked last minute hostel (no they didn't sponsor me so will not tell you which hostel, not giving them free publicity) but luckily it all worked out. Edit: Got some hate comments that the whole point it is called harassment is because you are trying to make love to someone who doesn't want to make love with you. Last stop of our trip! Came to Odaiba and saw the Stature of Liberty! Feels so surreal to see the Stature of Liberty but B and I went to eat pancakes, bought Gundam figurines (all Jap guys love Gundam, cosplaying as ninjas, and eating sushi), and our trip concluded with a rainbow on the bridge.
The road from the start of the trip was full of ups and downs, slipping on ice and snow and freezing in the winter but "it takes rain and sunshine to make a rainbow" And you B, are my sunshine in the rain. Thank you for this fairytale come true.

** I really bought 5000 yen worth of snacks that I couldn't eat during my trip. Any tax-exempted goods, when consumed in Japan, will subject you to a tax. I'm not sure how they can trace this though, they only have the receipt attached to your passport as proof, but please just abide by the law.
